Air Conditioning
Why is it that your AC only breaks on weekends and holidays? We are having a humid heat wave here and perhaps because we rarely use it, our AC is down! Bleh! My parents are in for the weekend and even they think it's hot so it must be so! How is it back east?

Yesterday one of my kids, Nicholas, who looooooves to share information, came in and told me he'd had chinese food for dinner the night before. He got two fortunes, and he thought they would be very helpful for me because they told me how to say things in Chinese. I looked at the first one, and it told me how to say, "Please pay attention," in Chinese (chean ju yee). I said, "Wow Nicholas, that will really come in handy!" Then I looked at the second one, and it said, "Still single. (not married)" (mae yao jeh huan).
If I ever go to China, I am good to go.
Wow, you just made me spit a cherrio out. That is hilarious. (And really good to know:)
