What's that rat doiong with my rash guard?
After the shore I put my rash guard out to dry in the back yard with Ken's wet suit top. Tonight we couldn't figure out where it went, neither of us remembered bringing it inside and it wasn't on the chair where I had left it on Sunday. We found it behind our air conditioning unit wedged in the fence between our house and our neighbors unit ... in a pile of rodent poo. Here's the kicker, it is still there! Try as he might Ken couldn't get it out of the crack!!! Strong little rats are going to give me nightmares! We're going to try tomorrow from the neighbors side...
Guess I will be asking for a new one for Christmas eeh?!

Soooooo gross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even worse, the next morning when Gracie and I went outside it had been pulled further under the fence. So it had been working feaverishly through the night to try and get my shirt! I am pretending in my mind that it is a cute little disease free mouse family and that it is OK!
Maybe it is a chihuahua...they are hard workers and small and sometimes rodent like...I figured you all might be thinking it and didn't want to offend me by saying it. Lilly considers herself to be a Great Dane so she takes no offense. Maybe dreaming of Lilly will help with the nightmares...hum, maybe not.
In DC at my construction sites we had rats the size of Lilly - they would set off the motion sensors at night because they were so big, and we occasionally saw them climbing straight up a concrete wall. Oh, this is the funniest one - one my my friends had a granola bar in a tupperware container in her desk - the rat smelled it and ATE HER DESK to get to the tupperware, and then ate part of the tupperware to get to the granola bar. he ate a hole like a foot wide in the desk!!!!
hmmm, none of this really helps with picturing rats, actually - go back to picturing Lilly!
