Dog Days
Hey all -
Jeff and I rented a house on LBI for a few weeks this August, and wanted to share some pics with everyone. I got to run in the Dog Day race (Holly - don't worry, your record is safe). We had a house on the bay, which was great for watching sunsets. Jeff got to have some beers at The Dutchmans, which made him finally feel like an adult (for a few minutes, at least!) Also, we took a swing by Grandpa's house to see how it was doing. The street has changed a ton, but the house is still there! Enjoy the pics below. Hope everyone had a great summer!

wow, I am suddenly SO jealous. I haven't been on LBI for so long and I was suddenly hit with this absolute desire to be there. Glad you had a good time (and didn't break my record, 12 and under is a tough category:)
Jealousy doesn't even describe how I am feeling right now.
Where on LBI? A few weeks? That is awesome!
We were in Ship Bottom, LBI. (If you turn right after you come over the causeway, it's about a 2 minute drive.) It was actually great. There was lots of stuff in walking distance and the house was right on the bay. One of my friends has a totally funny picture of Jeff and Sienna framed in front of the sunset. (I'll try to post it if she ever sends it to me!)
Oh wow, Jenny and Jeff, thank you so much for sharing that picture of Grandpa's house. That just took me way back to all of the special times we had there. Wow...
Special times, like when you and Ali put sand in my bed!
Let's revisit who shared that bed with you, every single summer. WHY would I have put sand in my own bed??
