The next generation
So other then being a little grainy and out of focus here is the first picture of the next generation. We are calling it.... a baby. If you look closely you can see distinct human characteristics. She has a head, a torso and an arm. Don't mistake that circle for a halo, I am assured that it is what will become his umbilical tube. Currently he is bound for arrival around the 3rd of June so stick around, this could get interesting.

WOW!!! Katie and Ken, I am so thrilled and excited for you! Oh my gosh, I have such a glowing, happy feeling in my heart, our first Eck great-grandchild! The birth of a new generation! Thank you for sharing the picture of our beautiful new baby! :) I like that the baby is both a he and a she. What a talented child!
We don't get to know until probably January if it is a boy or a girl so we don't want to get too excited about a specific gender... and it is not cool after you see the picture to simply refer to him/her as "it"
It is SOOOOO a girl!
