The Walking Wounded

Desi has a cast! And he is NOT happy about it. The funny thing is he wasn't limping before the cast but now that he has a cast, he's jump-hobbling around like a little three-legged bunny.

2 1/2 Weeks to go...

It's almost time to go to Arizona!! Two and a half weeks to go! I can't wait to see everyone!

Plus, the ACC tournament is in two and a half weeks too! I love March!

It turns out that there are bad people on the web and they commented on Tricia's post today with viruses. Bleh! Anyhow, Bucky says he fixed it for now.... I guess we should be less naive and keep our eyes out for anything suspicious.

Running

As some of you know, Mike, Karen and I did our first 1/2 marathon last month, I finally have post race pictures to share. We had a blast! It was well worth all of the training. We plan on doing another in December in Tucson for anyone who wants to join the fun!

Lego Land Parking

We went to Lego Land today (Holly had some free passes). They have preferred parking for Volvo drivers. We parked in the front row of the parking lot ... right near the entrance. It was SO SO COOL!!!! If you click on the picture it gets bigger and you can see the 'reserved volvo parking' sign in the back.

Holly and Mike joined forces in Tucson this past weekend to celebrate their birthdays. Mike asked for a white cake with lemon filling, but Holly always prefers a lemon cake with mocha frosting. These two competing requests were satisfied by a four-layered monstrosity made from alternating sheets of lemon cake and white cake interwoven with lemon pudding and Rick's mocha icing. It assembled remarkable easily, but collapsed under its own weight while chilling in the fridge.

Rumor Mill

Apparently I started a rumor. I thought that I heard that Lori was coming to AZ this March ... so I told Ali that I had heard as much and it turns out that it is not true. Sorry guys. Now if we want to start a better rumor, Tricia's dog Cassie is jealous because my dog Gracie is in love with my parents dog Connor.
